Unlikely. Have they posted anywhere other than the "Rosedale resigning" thread?
Actually, I like the idea of Lindens posting. I wish they would listen to us more often. The issues raised in a lot of threads here are legitimate and need to be addressed, plus, it shows that they are real people and that they care about SL. I'd love to have them be active on the threads. It would certainly put them in touch with a mixed community of residents, from old timers to the brand new who care about Sl and want it to succeed. On the other hand, maybe it means that they were reading all along and just didn't care enough to respond until it was major crisis time at LL headquarters. I hope that's not the case. If it is, then did any Lindens happen to see my last name thread? Please? I'll be good, I promise. My birthday was last month - maybe a belated present? _____________________

Unlikely. Have they posted anywhere other than the "Rosedale resigning" thread? James Linden has posted a couple of times in the past few months, directly soliciting opinions in here about search problems, and Jeska has posted several times also. |

De facto endorsement of RA as a general discussion forum? ![]() Isn't the first time. Happened the last time there was a SL shattering event (the announcement of Age Verification) |

When they officially abandoned the forums last year they promised us over and over that they would not be paying any attention to our gripes in the forums. We have seen that promise broken many times since then. Goes to prove that the squeaky wheels can't be ignored for too long.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Unlikely. Have they posted anywhere other than the "Rosedale resigning" thread? Yes. Go back to the old thread titled " Poll: would you pay more than 50L for an ad with new search?". Jeska Linden has been interactive with her posts to us. The thread is still active, but posts are coming in slowly these days. _____________________

I recall her posting in the thread that was praising one of Lindens a few weeks ago........last time I paid attention. Why does a Linden posting here in the forums throw people into an uproar?

It means they felt they had something constructive to contribute. I'm sure they read daily, but probably find all the whining, bitching, and moaning rather tiresome, and feel there is really nothing they could say to make anyone feel better. I know thats how i feel most of the time. The rest of the time I just feel cranky and post sarcastic comments. (like this one)

I think it's good when they post. It shows that they are interested in residents' reactions to certain events pertaining to SL. However, other than a very small handful of times, they seem to post to the threads that are based on some big news in SL. Nothing wrong with that either.....it's nice of them to try and calm some of the "doom and gloom" postings that sometimes accompany any new policy or change.

Nope!
Lindens don't read the forums (or the blog) If you read carefully, very carefully, you will see that Robin did not actually read the thread that she posted in. She just spewed blindly, and by a lucky chance, what she posted just happened to appear to be in context. Come along now! Move along please. Nothing to see here. ![]() |

I'd guess they also have better things to do than read about pie. In fact, I've heard most of the Lindens don't even like pie. _____________________
