Don't, you're scaring me.... *shivers* i hate them.
i think Maccie D's do a oreo McFlurry...haven't tried it yet. I think they may have stopped it though. Oreo ice cream sounds fun.

EDIT: Just realised - Maccie D's is McDonalds...sorry lol

Wait . . you hate oreos? um . . they scare you? Ok, now I'm confused. Oh, and I've never had a McFlurry. I love Blizzards, though, and I've even had an oreo blizzard, though I do not normally get that type of blizzard (Dairy Queen).

There was a chicken sandwich that I would get from a Burger King in England that was just great, spicier than the normal fare in England, but mild enough for me. I've tried, since I returned to the USA to find that sandwich in a USA Burger King, but the closest that I have found is just too spicy.

Ummm

I never notice if my stipend was on time or not. It's only 500L$. Who the hell notices give or take 500L$?

<runs>

True tho. I wouldn't know unless it wasn't showing on my accounts.

Sometimes I'll look in my transaction history, and that would be the only transactions occurring for months. Though that was back when I wasn't really using Sonia any longer. Oh, and that would be my only "notice" that I had, or hadn't been paid. A long list of nothing by money coming in . . .from SL. Three months or so of that, and actually, I now recall, 3 sales also.

No I hate paper cuts. I love oreos. I guess I wasn't very clear lol.
I dunno about Burger King. I tend not to eat there. All of the ones near me are ones which give food poisoning... :S I try not to eat fast food too often either. Plus I live just opposite a Maccie D's so it's practicality somtimes.
Never been to Dairy Queen so have never had a Blizzard before.

I love Blizzards. And I can't eat fast food in the USA. I ate fast food in England because it was just easier that way. I did finally eat Indian for the first time, though, while in England. Everything else was just soo bland. At some point, I think most of my meals were from that Indian place. I was trying food that would scare me silly, but it was only mildly spicy, so all good. I would never even think of trying an Indian place in the USA, though, in the land of "please, mister, can you add some more hot sauce to my plate of fire-breathingly hot tamale?"

I think I will stay away from Indian places in the USA then. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food. Tikka Massala or a korma is about as far as I will go.

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I always feel sad when people find our food bland. Just means they never got exposed to the good stuff. HOWEVER ... a lot of Indian restaurants and take aways are catering to the 'UK palate', go to somewhere like Southall and go into a place where the local people eat. I used to live in Southall and it was heavenly - though some places had samosas you could use to start off a nuclear pile ...

Phals, Vindaloos, Tindaloos, bring 'em on baby! .. bring them on!!! /me licks lips.

I agree with Cherry. I think a lot of the touristy areas just churn out average fodder if you're not careful. Morgaine comes from Bradford but in Gloucester now. She says southern curries are for wimps .. but then she called me one for being cold the first winter she was here. Now she tells a different story ;)

You've got a Yorkshire woman bilbo? No wonder you like a hard time!

I think next time I go see my mum, I might go to Bradford. I've not been there since I was about 13.

The best pizza I've ever had was eaten in a little out of the way cafe in London. I tried to eat everywhere - the places where only "locals" know about, the places that are highly regarded (though maybe too "touristy";), etc. Cambridge, Ely, London, Stratford are the places I recall immediately as to staying and sampling their food.

And yes, I went to a Chinese place in London, ordered my favorite meal (to see how they would do it) and it was very mild, very bland. Was very surprised.

Oh, and I grew up on spicy food, everything I eat seems to have some heavy spice or another in it, so there just seemed to be "something missing" when I ate English food (spicy as in having spices in it, not necessarily hot spicy).

Is that Stratford-upon-Avon Sonia? We found a nice Italian restaurant there. When I've been abroad, Germany and Switzerland, I was spellbound by the food flavours and so look for the more 'interesting' cuisine and foods back home now :)

Oh, she gives me that at times! I think I might be timetabled here if we ever get to stage two of our engagement and she moves in!

Yes, went there to see a Shakespeare play. And we did eat in a nice Italian restaurant. Interesting . . :)

Unfortunately, I've only been to Mexico and England (and yes, I mean just England, hence England . . hehe so close and I didn't pop over to Wales, or Scotland, or Ireland, or France or . . ).

And also unfortunately, I didn't want to bring my camera on the Mexico trip, so no pictures. This here, though, is remarkablely like the RL one:

Oh, and London:
