One thing I think is annoying is if someone sends me a n/c named "To Osprey Therian." Put YOUR name on it when you send a notecard to someone.
I never understood putting the senders name in the name on the notecard. Personaly I rightclick the n/c in invevtory and open the profile of the creator (properties). Then drop my reply right on the profile. I find this much easier than pasting a name into search.
To OP: I do not think having a notecard request in ones profile as being presumtious. Personaly I put it there as a reaction to lost messages.
