I have a piece of property on the mainland and when I logged in yesterday, after a few days offline, my land is grey and ugly. It used to be green and, I think, covered in grass. All the parcels around me are grey, too.
Did I mess up a setting?

I have noticed this before at various mainland locations, the ground texture changes on its own from day to day. I have no idea why. Another SL bug I presume. Wait a day or so and it will probably change back.

Tends to mean it's taking time/having trouble loading the texture. Usual fixes apply here...empty cache, reload client...and if others are also seeing it as gray, report it to LL.

No. Colorful vegetation can be considered Broadly Offensive bt some, so until you verify you are old enoygh to see it, it will be all grey. Also, any poseballs you hope on will make you start knitting. OMG! There's knitting poseballs?!? |
