And this very example is why my right hand refuses to write a check for my islands...

I want to believe! PLEASE!

I've been here 4 months plus and it feels like forever sometimes. But its been a great 4 months!

( I like it here don't get me wrong. But if I step back and look at the big picture I still can't justify such a large investment in something I can't own, IE SL on MY computer/servers with all MY assests in MY control, and not located on someone elses server thousands of miles away.)

Call me old fashioned, but I'm content as a super resident (I own land, support 40-50 other residents, build and spend etc.) until SL shows some stability - for an extended period of time.

Gosh, I'm relieved to hear others are the wispy thing. I was still using the old version, and kept logging in to find myself totally Ruthed Out. I couldn't IM with anyone, and no one could recieve inventory from me. I downloaded the latest viewer, and it wasn't any better only instead of looking like a Romanian Gymnast, I look like an apparition.

Logging in to some specified sim
08-04-2008 21:58
...how do you do that?

Probably it's very basic and everyone but me knows how. (!) But when I log in I just have one choice that I can see: "Connect". I always come in whereever it was I logged out.

In re the Ghostly Cloud avatars...can we wear attachments?

Serious, serious issues, even 3 hours after the first reported problems. At least one of my sims has been offline for over an hour, I'm still appearing as a ghost in-world, and no one can IM me, nor can I IM them. Also unable to create a notecard.

Guess I won't be able to handle any customer issues tonight.

Noticed some odd things about 24 hours ago. Things got progressively worse. Been a little white cloud for more than 12 hours, bot 200 hundred extra prims on my sim, my neighbor has 400 extra prims, can't submit a ticket, can't get onto live chat, phone lines are down. Is anybody in charge of the script kiddies at LL?

Try the Beta Grid

Anybody suffering withdrawal symptoms due to Network Issues try the Beta Grid. Everything seems to function there just fine.
