NCI will be creating a guide to SL specifically aimed at former TSO players. As you may have heard, EA will be closing TSO as of the first of August. NCI hopes to to assemble, polish, and distribute (via NCI campuses, InfoNodes, the Forum, etc.) this guide quickly so that it will be ready as TSO people start to trickle in to SL.
NCI Officer and Board member Linda Coffee (five years in TSO and three years in SL) will be coordinating this project. If you think you can help, please contact her in world, or post to this thread.

Bump for NCI thinking of this.
It's been almost 5 years since I have been TSO member so I am not sure what type of help I could provide. Other then I care about the refugees cause I once was one of them. What do you want people to do who are interested in helping other then contacting Linda Coffee? I suppose EVERYONE knows what a TSO is? Hopefully but if they don't it was similar world to here except it was based on The Sims games that EA started many years ago. For many years it was called TSO or The Sims Online until EA decided to call it EALand.....maybe they had plans on doing more modern version of online world later, who knows. _____________________

I suppose EVERYONE knows what a TSO is? In this case, TSO = The Sims Online A.K.A. EA-Land: http://ea-land.ea.com/blog/ People familiar with The Sims Online or EA-Land would recognize the acronym. I sure didn't have any idea what a TSO was either. I'm glad we got the explanation. Sounds like NCI is going to handle it just fine, like always.

However, it would help for anyone who has experience in TSO/Sims Online/EA-Land to contect Linda Coffee. We want to put this together fairly quickly, so if there's anyone out there who has any information already assembled that they hand to TSO-refugee newbies, we would appreciate being able to use some of it. _____________________
