Concurrency went beyond 70,000 today. Isn't this the first time?

The roughest grid time today was early in the morning SLT when concurrency was at its lowest. LL's servers climbed through that 70,000 number without breaking a digital sweat.

It was totally borked at 3:45am this morning however - grrrr if it was not for the good will of the vendor I would have lost L$1000 due to undelivered goods.

I do wonder how many of these are traffic bots and what happens to actual load if they are all gone.

When I joined, it was 30 k online during the day and 15 k online at night, if that, SL time zone.
Call me foolish, but I have a glint of hope the AOLer will deliver.

This is excellent. Very encouraging. And I only had one failed login and two or three failed uploads. Not giant borkage. Business as usual. Congrats, LL!

I remember the 100 person stress test.

I also remember when they force logged everyone out and then when we logged back in, it was into a single sim where maybe 60 total people rezzed in for a stress test.

Hm...while all this good news is encouraging, just yesterday, I know of two people who lost chims with thousands of lindens of dances in them.

I personally crashed four times. My husband crashed five.

All day long, I would edit things, apply, close...and watch as what I edited went back to original shape/position/size.

It was a strange day: smooth for some, not for others. I had no problems, despite working on a few projects during the peak time. But in the Macintosh Users Group last night, some members reported serious problems throughout the day.

I had a pretty flawless weekend... Even when both Jump and I were online at the same time... Heh... Contributing to the inflated number. (=_=)

I wanted to see the login page when it turned over 70k. (T_T)

Is there a place, or a site that charts logged in residents? The login page is a bugger to refresh and I don't know if it can be viewed in a browser or anything. (o.o)

I dunno but I cant send congrats to people for simply getting things right finally.

Kinda like the thread about CS doing their job. OMG its the way things should be, not a celebration!

I didn't have many problems, but I did experience one sudden crash...something I hadn't seen for many weeks now. Just, BAM! back to the desktop. Oh, and group chat is (still) very laggy and often doesn't work at all...but that's not news.
