From: Darkpoet Magne I even cleared my cashe for the first time since I started SL. Still, not letting me log in. Ummm...try to do that more often, maybe that helps prevent some of your crashs....

From: FlaranChamenthi Rau Why can someone log in as their alt but not on their main account? Typically this is attributed to the idea that your newly created alt has far fewer inventory items, thereby requiring much less [Insert correct tech-speak gobble-dee-gook term here] from your side, allowing you to load faster then someone with say, 13000 high-rez textures in their inventory. To the OP: SL is never 'fixed', silly.

From what I have read the problems seems to stem from the login servers or whatever being unable to communicate, and as a result, it looks like all of us who crashed, were unable to log back in because our AVs were still in-world, and the login system was unable to send the message to log us out. That would explain why alts worked as well.

From: FlaranChamenthi Rau The latest Blog entry says they've replaced the elastic band or found the hamster, but I still can't log in. Anyone else with the same problem. If so, could someone tell Linden it's still broke!!!
[UPDATE 12:25 am PDT]
Login to the Second Life world is working now, but you might still experience some difficulties in logging in to our PJIRA.
Flaren after they tie the knot in the rubber band they still have to wind it back up.
