It's true the skill level of escorts range from awful to "she could be making money writing screenplays and romance novels". It's also true that what turns on a client varies all over the map. Some guys like to watch video clips, and SL is not for them.

The ones who like to interact, play out a fantasy they cannot do in real life, don't have a private place to use, etc. can find value in SL escorts. For example, if you only want it once a month, but when you want it, you want it *right now*, it may not make sense to maintain an SL house, or to keep in contact with some friends to play with. It's simply more convenient to find an escort who is available at the time.

Just because it does not suit *you*, there can still be a market for it, same as any other interest. Some people are into sailing in SL, some are into live music, and some are into cybersex. But for any given person, any or all of those will get the reaction "meh".

Good luck, with an attitude like this you will need it. If you want to speak with an employer inworld then use the classifieds search inworld and go from there. Not everyone reads these forums.

Here's another suggestion: If you hang out at any clubs, try to make friends with the staff. I got my first DJ job that way. Clubs are always looking for hosts and dancers. You're far more likely to find a job if you talk to people inworld, rather than in a forum. As others have pointed out, not everyone reads the forums, and the ones who do have formed opinions, based on what they've read.

In looking at your profile, I notice you have an escort club and Dance Island in your picks. Maybe you should try looking into employment at either of those two places?

I actually do own a club, but I have to be honest with you: your communication style in this thread is a bit of a turn off. Maybe I'm just reading your posts in a negative light, but employers do prefer someone to be a bit less defensive and a little more personable.

There have been a lot of people giving you excellent advice in this thread. Have you followed up on any of it?

Then why post this on the forums - you have started three or four threads either asking people for money or for a job. Why aren't you saying in here that people did offer you jobs, which you ignored - sent you cash, which you did not thank them for - and offered advice, which you rejected.

Word gets around. And by the way the people here ARE employers. You should take a clue from the reaction you've been getting, here and in-world.

You're not the only job-seeker in SL. People keep asking you what you have to offer, and trying to help, and mostly, get insults like the above. Even this post is an attempt to help you. I'm sure you will say you don't need help - fine, then stop begging for our help in the forums, if our help isn't what you seek.

All I can say is those jobs do not exist. Even retail jobs or landlord 'jobs' here require interaction with the public and customer service, if you want to have/ maintain your business' reputation.

Yeah, good luck with that. ALL jobs require a minimal amount of communication.

Okay, in your original post, and in the title of this thread, you state "I need ANY job". I may be off base here, and I'm sure others are as well, but doesn't that mean you want ANY job? A host, a dancer, an escort, all are jobs. All are fairly simple to get if you're friendly and communicative.

So barring those jobs what, exactly, are you looking for?

What do you bring to the table for any employer? What's in it for us if we hire you? What are you looking for, specifically, if you are unwilling to take three of the *easiest* jobs to get in Second Life?

These are all legitimate questions. I mentioned before that I own a club. There is no way I'd hire anyone if they couldn't tell me what skills they bring to the table. No employer would.

And with your attitude, I would be flabberghasted if someone actually did offer you a job in IM without knowing what you can offer which, from where I'm sitting, seems to be precious little.

People who run SL businesses risk their real money and reputation with whoever they might hire. They will darn sure "ask you things."

See, if you had stated this fact from the beginning, or even in response to the numerous inquiries to what you were looking for, we could have saved a few pages worth of advice and pointers to which you had no interest in listening.

As I stated before, to which you never responded, there are precious few jobs out there that do not require customer relations (ie. communication) skills beyond camping for 2-3 Lindens per hour, or filling out surveys (and subjecting yourself to more spam than even Hormel can produce). Anything else requires at least a modicum of professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills.

Apparently, asking a job applicant what sort of job they DO want is too much. Lol.

She seems to be fairly adept at insulting people who talk to her. Maybe she will luck upon a position such as that. Actually there might be one or two in SL who'd pay for that. But they might be a bit discerning, and hope for more than "stupid" and "idiot" so even that requires "communication skills."

This thread reminds of the Cassandra thread. We all offered advice, places inworld she can go and so on. And for some reason our suggestions are rebuffed. With Cassandra, her last im to me was laced with profanity basically telling me somehow I failed her. And she got what she gave, because I don't tolerate being disrespected irl let alone by a cartoon representation of one's real self. I offered Cassandra twice a job as a greeter when I had weddings scheduled but never heard from her. I think OP is like her
if it is not handed to them and they don't have to make any significant effort, then why THEY should be bothered. What she is doing is asking for a job handed to her without any effort on her part. But is particular on what she is willing to accept.

When you go to a food pantry, you get what's in the sack. PERIOD! Honey, people are not going to hand you a job nor money on a silver platter. It took me 3 years to get where I am at as I am sure others can attest. You may not intend to come across funky and foul but you do!
