Get a room, you two.
Jack and Arnie do you mean?

Pep (Definitely NOT love-hate)

PS That's not a dig at you Love, honestly.

And there you have the essential problem!

I wish I could but I have a son in a leg brace and on crutches, a wife in bed with three day migraine and a mother-in-law permanently on the phone having a nervous breakdown about her taxes, all imprisoning me in my home. Does that get me as much sympathy as Jig's hysterical, sorry, historical reminiscences?

Pep (Funny, both sides thought they won that one)

I just "dropped in" - you certainly get my sympathy. I can understand some of what you experience since I have had some times recently where it all piles on to you.
I didnt realize I was "hysterical" (what an awful sexist word, really) - and "historical"?
Anyway, I seriously hope your child and wife recover quickly. And that your mother-in-law can get taxes all settled.

You didn't really believe me did you?

Pep (Actually, I live alone, unmarried and childless, which DOES have the benefit that I don't have a mother-in-law)

PS Hysterical has multiple meanings . . .

For the record, I pick me. *I* am the forum poster I would most like at the next table for dinner conversation. It cuts down on the trading of semantical barbs.

J (or is that barbarism?...parenthetically speaking...)

Going to reply with what I believe is a legit answer, but I have to admit to not finding the aforementioned poll...

It would depend upon the dinner. Over burgers and fries, I think I'd prefer Jig, to chat about girlie things and just kind of trade idle chit chat.

Over smoked salmon and a glass of wine, however, I'd have to choose Pep. I think the intellectual stimulation would be well worth the eventual ulcer. Additionally, I think his ability to maintain a high level of academically challenging banter is admirable, even if it is sometimes a tad irritating.

Get stoned and drink wine with Jig and we'll eat vegan/vegetarian munchies.

Jig, you cannot be AR'd for naming names in this thread because Pep is not an avatars name. :)

I would argue that from a ToS point of view it is a sufficiently personal designation (from custom and practice) to justify a successful AR.

Pep (Just don't ask say what it is; she is confused enough already)

Don't you know what a poll is? Or perhaps you don't know how to initiate one?

Pep (You appear not to realise that you aren't supposed to start threads with people's names in them either)

There's no rule or law that says you can't start a thread with someone's name in it. Ridiculous trash.

Well, in that case, I hereby rescind my declaration of IBTL.

SL Forums Guidelines

Basic Forum Policies and Etiquette

Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc.

Pep (of course there isn't, and even if there was no-one would enforce it)
