Not sure if this is the correct place, but I am currently studying in Cyberpsychology masters in IADT http://www.iadt.ie/ Dublin, Ireland.
In my thesis I am investigating the fluidity of gender online, specifically looking at gender-bending (find out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_bending)
I would like to speak informally to anyone whose avatar/character/second life resident is of a different gender then their real life gender.
It would only take about 10-15 minutes, I can even manage 5 minutes of your time. We could arrange to meet in world, or I could add you to whatever IM chat program you would prefer to use!

Having visited Ireland, specifically living in Dublin, while in college doing research for one of my papers, I would love to help out due to sentimental reasons; however, I am the same gender SL as RL and have no desire to be otherwise.

I suppose I really want to look at the motivations behind the reasons why people gender, and would be interested in just a general chit chat for the moment about it. get some informal responses! thanks again tho guys! Anymore ideas? |
