Logins Temporarily Disabled

There's nothing on the Status page but it looks like an asset server problem.

I logged out because, when trying to save a script, I got the message that the system couldn't upload it from a path on my computer. I got the same thing yesterday too. But I haven't tried to upload anything - just save changes to a script.

Also, I've just had an IM from a customer who bought but didn't receive - got the asset server problem message instead.

yes, it wouldnt let me save my edited shape, so i thought id relog.
now it wont let me in.

Well this would account for my frustration. Despite still being inworld, my shoes have been pending attachment to my feet for sometime now, and I am parading around naked because the clothes I had on when I logged off last night are still showing as being worn, though I assure you, they are NOT.

Status page now says it's network hardware problems.

At least they've got something on the Status page now - quite quick for LL

When this kind of thing happens, real players log out and others can't log in. So the avatars remaining in-world after a while represent the bots and campers that are not active:

If we are locked out long enough, you can get an idea what the player number is settling out to by looking at that graph

Only 33k people online at the moment...lowest I've seen in many many months.

Sucks though.

ETA: 2 minutes later and only 31k online. This must be a big failure.

I logged 20 mins ago, shape, skin etc failed to rez Any attempt to load anything from my inventory was met with the dreaded "Item not found in database" Message.

Cleared cached, logged out and now locked out!!!

I don't understand how it dropped so quickly. It was 49k not that many minutes ago. I logged out on my own, intending to log back in, and my bots are all still there. Maybe they are dumping people out from some places but not others.

I tried but can't upload a photo!! Poor, poor Phil.

Would you send one of your bots over to the mall please and turn off my (free and legal) sploder?

I asked for a volunteer, but it seems they are all occupied in having an orgy while nobody is around.

This problem came up just after they finished an overnight task to move some servers to their new network. And now we have network problems. Sounds like somebody messed up the network during the transfer.

Dammit...someone forgot to bring a surge protector.

It could still be coincidence. According to the Status blog, they were only moving region servers, and the region where my store is wasn't included in the move. But there were problems in that region - non-delivery of goods and the inability to save a script. Also, they appear to have dumped a load of people out but not from that region.

Also, the same inability to save a script, with the same nonsense message, occured yesterday as well. It could be coincidence, albeit a big one.

I am able to tp via the map....very strange. Honeybear, if you really need someone to do something for ya, let me know.
