A Stormtrooper put a sploder on my land

A tenant of mine informed me that someone had left a sploder on the land between his store and my store. I couldn't login for a couple of hours, but when I did I found that the sploder was still there and so was the person who'd left it there....who was a stormtrooper.

I asked him what he was playing at and returned his sploder to him and he said sorry, got into a space ship and flew off. I'm not sure if it was a tie fighther or not.

Anyway my question is, what's the etiquette here, should I have AR'd him? Will I be the one getting into trouble if people leave sploders around the place?

AR and Ban. That is the Correct Path, it's what you would do (I hope) if he were using your land to distribute child Porn (Or engage in any other activity LL has banned).

Were i of a suspicios nature I would assume that by doing a Banned thing on your property, He was not meaning you any good, perhaps setting up the Sploder, then ARing you for having one? In any event he is not someone you want to have free run of your land.

Considering when you AR an object, it shows the object owner's name, that's just a good way to self-ban.

It is possible that he or she didn't know it was a sploder. They may have been going through some freebie items, rezzing them to see what they were. Often, I find that when I rez an object it will mysteriously stop allowing me to edit or delete it - the Owner and Creater fields often show blank. Maybe this happened to this person. Or maybe I'm just showing world-shattering naivety.

Since he was an Imperial Stormtrooper I really can't advise you as I never cared much for that far away galaxy. Now if he were an Andorian, or perhaps a Romulan.....

I haven't been to any of his parties, but I think linden labs are more lenient on sploders if you are just giving stuff out and no one has to pay to enter it.

If you have to pay to enter the competition.. then the sploder is illegal.
