The song "Word-Up" (Korn version), will not stop playing in my head!!

It just keeps going and going and going and occasionally i sit here and chirp out a "WORD-UP" in this crazy voice which is making me wonder if i have Tourette's now.

Right now, "The Wild Rover", but I don't know why.

Sometimes I get a song stuck there, usually for no apparent reason, and even songs that I don't care for and wish would go away and leave me alone.

Maybe I better turn on the radio.

I seem to wake up with one almost every day. This morning it was 'Burning Airlines Give You So Much More'. The strange thing is that it won't necessarily be something that I've listened to recently.

The Germans have a great word for the condition, which is ehrwurm (I think) and it is both pronuounced and translated in English as earworm.

The perfect cure is to play the insistent number at full volume and sing along with it until something else grabs your attention, which requires a couple of plays at least in my case.

We’re no strangers to love,
You know the rules and so do I.
A full commitment’s what I’m thinking of,
You wouldnt get this from any other guy.

I just wanna tell you how I’m feeling,
Gotta make you understand…

Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you.
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

I got "How I could just kill a man" by Rage Against The Machine, 'cause I'm pissed off that some jackass newb exploited server issues to drain my account, then lied about it, then threatened me when he/she/it got banned.

Oh, what you get from your kids:

Some times...
Some crimes...
Keep slipping through the cracks...
These two...
Gum shoes...
Are picking up the slack...

No case too big...
No case to small...
[Something I can't recall...]

Chip chip chip and Dale! Rescue Rangers! ...
