John, Federal is probably the best example on the grid of assinine landowner behavior. Somewhere in 2004 the sim was cut up into various 16m parcels, 128m parcels, etc... It really sucks because Federal could have been the nicest of the old sims - being as it has Linden ocean on two sides. For some reason, prior to 2005 Federal was magnet for jerks and much of it still owned today by those same jerks. And to compound the issue, Federal is a Sim that allows 40 meter landscaping too, a valuable right (in isolation) on mainland Sims. Folks, the 4 side rule comes down to what the Lindens deem to be harrassment (as it was explained to me back then. And the Linden who makes that judgement call. However I would have thought that 2/3 folk or more owning land all with ban lines, and living content alongside one another would not be an issue. As another poster said a lot comes down to how people feel about things on a case by case basis, and the Linden who gets lumbered with being all wise lol |
