Originally, I was going to ask, "Is there a Grand Canyon" sim. I am referring to a sim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I did a search and found a couple of places I can't enter. Very likely to be the wrong place.

I love walking in natural settings and would love to take a good walk along a good trail. What are some good places to go? I'm also open to caves, tunnel and underwater sims. I added the tunnel after seeing a thread on it, earlier.

Thanks in advance!

The Grand Canyon is too large to replicate in SL. Several people considered it recently, but it would take way too many sims even to do a small fraction of it.

There are, however, some wonderfully scenic areas in SL, and I am sure this thread will gather quite a few suggestions.

Your post title mentioned parks even though you didn't include them in the test so I'm posting my own anyway!

My forest includes all of the region Oswald and 1/4 of its neighbor Olber as one connected Fantasy Forest. The trails are there for you to discover and you'll see a wide variety of creations from some of my favorite builders in Second Life. Start in the NW corner of Oswald and work your way to the SE to walk into Olber.

Shuri Castle Gardens in Butler sim. There's a trail runs behind the castle, over stream and by a pond, through a wood with wildlife and down to the shore. (There are horses available to ride at no cost at the east end of the trail, or you may walk.) Across the bay is a small Shinto shrine almost hidden by trees, with a bridge over a waterfall on the path from the bay to the shrine. There is a spectacular view from the middle of the waterfall bridge, of Shuri Castle across the bay.
