The only thing that irritates me is the zero interaction you get from some people before you get hit with the blue screen asking if you want to be animated.

Some of the work that has gone into these animations is amazing =) And I'm game to try most things at least once. But being asked if I want to be animated by someone I've never met while I'm shopping! loooool !!! Like thats going to happen.

Oh I do. Trouble is that there seems to be so many of them.

A few of the less salubrious places in SL have signs stating that they consider the damned things to be griefing unless used in consensual roleplay. I might have chucked in the Mentor towel but I still behave myself.

I'd use Deira's vomit blood animation but that might be taken as a come on ...

I was bitten (gently) by a handsome Lycan today after he engaged me in some fairly good role playish converstaion.

He is the first I have met in ages.

I had a bar that malfunctioned a while back, so I IM'd the creator. They asked for a tp so they could check the thing out. I invited them into my house. Turned out she was a Japanese vampire. To make matters worse, she had to have me invite her master who had created the scripts. Now I have two vampires that I have invited into my home

Actually they were very polite and gave me some free stuff including a coffin with a sleep (or whatever) animation that you wear as an attachment.

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me and my partner several times, in different sims the other night. We'd just be standing there and then suddenly get spammed with animation requests. The people weren't RPing at all, just biting. Tres lame.

Yes, there is a certain creator I won't name, who's created a scoring system with his vampire stuff, so people are out to bite as many as they can to 'level up'. It's not hardly even related to RP anymore.

I often go around as a Vampire, but I would never try and bite a random stranger.

I think its that "Bloodlines:the thirst" thing whats making people try and bite random strangers... I even had someone try and bite me while I was in Norsim which uses a whole different PR system! (Warps) . also Warps is automaticly disabled as soon as you step outside of thier sims too which is obviously not the case with Bloodlines.
