2 questions:

1.- Where did you ACTUALLY spent more money in SL:

Skins & shapes. clothes, shoes, vehicles, animations, scripts, investing in doing business, buying land, paying tiers, etc

2.- Where did you preffer to spend more money?

Skins & shapes. clothes, shoes, vehicles, animations, scripts, investing in doing business, buying land, paying tiers, etc

1}
The most money I ever spent in one purchase was my car. My second most expensive purchase was my horse. I have not bought a skin yet, except for several 1 linden purchases of demos, and have not bought a shape yet. I acquired both a shape and a skin when I bought an outfit, but I hadn't realized that a skin and shape were coming with the outfit.

I have spent a lot on clothes, but the designer I like best has very good clothing for very inexpensive prices. Though, by this point, I have spent more than a 1000 lindens in that shop.

2} See one. If I had preferred to spend it elsewhere, I'd have spent it elsewhere.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I never buy anything ever. I make everything or get freebies for clothes, make my own TShirts. I use all my $L for tier.

Clothes are reoccurring expenses for many people? Maybe the most reoccurring?

It is when you're a shopaholic and you see all these pretty things that you "have" to have. Furniture, I buy, I'm mostly done with it. I might change the rugs occasionally. House, I searched long and hard to find the one I wanted. Unlikely that I'll buy another. Skins, I found the one I like, at most I'll buy a couple more makeups of the same skin. Hair... I'm picky, so if it doesn't knock my socks off, I'll stick with my few favorites.

But clothes, shoes, jewelry, can a woman ever have enough? Although, if I could stay off the "New Products" forums, I'd surely buy a lot less ;)

When I first started:

1. Land
2. Houses
3. Stuff for house
4. Pose balls
5. Tier
6. Clothes
7. Attachments (*cough...when I found out that we don't start out with certain attachments)

Notice where clothes are in the list :)

Now:

1. Nothing that I actually need.

I try to support other businesses whenever I can. I buy stuff thats interesting or is likely difficult to make because it is just plain good. My business pays the biills.

The vast majority of my money (which I don't have much of as I'm not making any L$ at the moment) goes on land or tier. I like spending money on this because I can be creative and experiment with building different types of structures.
