This is always a challenge for me, finding those great places to take that special date. I know a couple of the jazz ballrooms that are nice. I keep hearing about these restaurants but never found one, and what about those moonlit walks on the boardwalk??

Giacamo's in Fairchang Vista NW. It's a restaurant. Has live music from some of the best artists in SL.
I will also put a plug in for Cocololo Island. Lovely resort. _____________________

Well I can't really feel the person I'm with either but it doesn't stop me from touching her. Did you think about that before you posted it? Can you really "touch" her? ![]() |

There's a place called "Wonderful Evenings". You make a reservation. They seat you, and serve you various courses. You get personal attention and service. They have a couples dance floor and, I think, occasional live musicians.

Perhaps when I log in, I'll find some landmarks to my favorite romance spots.
Until then, I'll tell you how I found them all. If you just do a Places search on "romance" and start visiting them one day, you'll come up with a good list of favorites. There are quite a lot of them. |

The "reflections" sims are marvelous places for exploring with your sweetie. Midnight Reflections, Secret Reflections, etc. Four sims in all.

Ya know... I never understood the fascination with the Reflections sims.
Crowded, mostly with blingtards looking for dates, risque poseballs lying around in very public places, blurry textures stretched too far over tortured prims, laggy like mad, badly placed main landing spot, peculiar teleport system. What am I missing?? _____________________

What am I missing?? Nothing. It IS beautiful but the lag IS enough to make you TP right out. However, I will admit to having a few very nice trysts there in my earlier days in some spots which are very well hidden ![]() _____________________

Don't forget the action dates. Just like RL. Boating, surfing, horse riding or amusement parks to name a few. I like taking a date to various water sports, but then again I just want an excuse to get them in a bathing suit
This time of year, you should be able to find some ice skating rinks with free skates you can use if you don't have any. |

Okay, this will probably come off as incredibly geeky but I'm gonna post it anyway
If you haven't been to the Star Trek museum yet, you should. There's a nice restaurant, scuba diving, whale watching, and ice skating in the winter (free ice skates and scuba gear available). You can even arrange to have a fireworks show if you plan ahead. And the 4 sim estate is just beautiful!Other than that, I remember visiting a jazz club that had dancing in the clouds that was just lovely. If I can find the lm, I'll post it later. _____________________

Welcome Rick. You're getting some good ideas here.
One little observation... If you are on a date with that special someone. It won't matter where you are, she'll have the time of her life because she's with you. That said...you might also add a walk around the deck of the SS Galaxy. There is ice skating, skeet, a rock climbing wall, bumper boats down in the water, a restaurant, and a grand ballroom to finish the evening off in style. ![]() _____________________

You should definitely check out Inspire Space Park. Ditto that, Inspire Space Park, and be sure to ride one of the orbiting couples pose ball sets there. Wonderful experience. _____________________
