Why have so recently these threads been leading to advertising stores?? It seems like there has been a recent increase in this, it was my understanding that they should advertise in "products wanted" but it never fails to lead to advertising for hte bigger stores and many awesome and fantastic designers unheard of because of all the leads to the others go unsearched and wonderful quality and excellently designed garmets sit unbought while you see the same styles being worn over and over by people who think just because the store is huge or someone suggests it is the best.
WHy dont you look around on XstreetSL and check out things you like then go to those same makers and look.

As well as just because someone uses a name brand don't mean squat and I would BET most have nothing to do with the lables they "say" they are.

There are already 3 different posts doing the same thing here.

Who's advertising? I mentioned shops I patronize as the OP asked for suggestions. If you kow of some small designers that are good, please mention them as well. As far as "having something to do with the labels" I don't get what you mean?
BTW, I mention several "small designers", all of them forum regulars.

Oh! I forgot to mention Apple May - great clothes! Also, if you want to see samples of various shops, go to Vista Animations - there's a clothing section with different vendors! I've been exploring too - it's hit or miss sometimes :)

I don't consider it advertising if another resident comes in asking us for stores that we use. Advertising is when a store owner toots their own horn.

Maybe I should start my own poll -- folks do you see me wearing the same styles over and over? I am often being told how I seem to be good at finding stuff that is not the "same old stuff" and yet I do have outfits from almost every store mentioned in this thread.
