From: Onagh Ashbourne Last night I was shopping and minding my own business (I thought I was the only one there) and was asked why I was there and did I not have a RL and blah blah blah... then she tp'd out before I had a chance to even look at her profile! You can copy her name from "local chat" and plug it into the People tab in Search. Then you can look at her profile, and do fun things like IM her.

Like the others have stated. There are always a few jerks about.. Nowdays I tend to be quick with the mute, and just go on doing what ever I was doing in blissful silence.. They tend to go away when they get no reaction at all.
At one point in my early days I seemed to be getting a lot of just oddball griefers. So I created a little gesture.. It just said "Oh Really? You don't say?"
And assigned it to the f12 key.. So to everything they said I just pressed the f12 key.. At the time I found it made the conversation into a comedy. *giggles*
Nowdays I am just too busy to be bothered.. So I just hit the mute right off and totally ignore them. They are normally gone in seconds.
Have fun, enjoy SL, the ratio of good to bad people is about 10,000 to one.. So don't let that one in 10,000 get to you.

I told someone to stop spamming, once, in IM, 18 months ago. Said "girl" is still going round spreading rumours and generally causing crap for me, griefing etc. It's pretty low grade stuff which actually serves a good purpose for me = if people believe it then it filters out the people I'd not want to spend time with anyway. There's a lot of screwed up people in the world, SL is loaded with a proportion of them (possibly more than it's fair share).
