A visitor was messing with some of my objects, I didn't worry.. Then he was messing with some of my dance poles.
The two really expensive dual poles are now "Group Only".. They were public before! I don't know what to do! .. Especially since he isn't keen to talking, and I don't own the poles and the pole owners are on vacation, but they're in my club..
I can't afford new ones, and we have an event tomorrow..

Apparently this is a bug, and I shouldn't have been so worried =x Now I know how to fix it if it happens again, lol. So terribly simple too!

Can you take them back into your inventory then rez them out again with the permission fixed?

My post answers all those questions! =x
1 - I don't have permissions to the object 2 & 3 - The owner is on vacation .. Also, since it isn't my object I wouldn't even think of contacting the creator. It isn't mine, why would they care? These dual poles were created by Jennifer Brennon.. Thankfully my single poles, by Ravenne here are fine. Even though we have more of the singles than duals =x So a few singles would have been better! Lol. I've no idea when Jennifer was last on, and the event is in 11 hours anyway. |

If you don't own the objects, then even getting the land owner to return them won't help since they'll go back to the owners that are on vacation. Maybe the creator can help you out temporarily??

You may have to just hope you can get some kind soul to donate some replacement poles, or simply postpone the event until the important people get back from vacation. There isn't really anything else that can be done.

I've had ownership problems with modifying group stuff before accidently deeded to group and got around it by setting the item for sale for $1 then buying it restoring my ownership from the group.
And I am still dissappointed pole dancing has not yet made it to the Olympics  _____________________

I dont know what the actual answer is.. I just know LLs response was at best...flaccid.
