If I were Craig Altman, as a highly successful animator in SL, I would demand clarification from LL on this simple question: From: someone Can my customers use their pose balls that depict (artistically!) sexual acts in their private residences on Mature mainland? Or is use of these poseballs limited to Adult sims?
If they can use them privately, must they be within buildings only?
Has Craig done this? Has anyone received a message from B&B, or any other animator, saying where their sex anims can be used? (I don't belong to their group(s) ) .

Is he "the most successful" animator in SL?
There are many other people.
I would have to say the most successful animator in SL by sheer volume of sales is by far Easy Babcock with Sine Wave Island, without a doubt. I would have a hard time believing Bits and Bobs gets 3,000 sales on average per day like Sine Wave (as posted by Easy) regarding the back log of item delivery problems. Just a trip to the island is enough to see the mad spending frenzy.

OK, lol. I'm editting the OP to remove that ... my point is, animators would presumably be keenly interested in letting their customer base know that sex anims are OK on mature land, for private use. Has anyone heard from one?
(I used Craig because I know he used to dip into the forums now and then). .

That is definitely one of the clearest statements that we are allowed adult conduct inside our homes. I guess I will have to enclose my hot tub and other outdoor areas - which means they will no longer be outdoor areas.

It will still feel like it's outside, except to the people outside! I suggest putting big white letters on black that say 'ADULT ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE INSIDE!' *wink*

From: LittleMe Jewell I like this idea so do I A few days back I had a go at enclosing my beach to see what it would look like from the outside.. It's seriously ugly.. no matter what texture (from sand to warning signs) I slapped on it a it looks like a large rectangular block of ugliness in an otherwise attractive tropical cove. ah well, thankfully ugly structures aren't against the ToS yet although my neighbours are going to hate me as soon as I put it up for real.. if anyone knows anything about megaprims, can you answer a question? I was going to put it right up to the borders so every bit was enclosed and then someone mentioned they had a bounding box around them that would mean that although the box appeared to be completely on my land it would actually encroach on my neighbours property. Is this true?

Is this true? No, they're either thinking of sculpties, or the way megaprims worked in Havok1.

If everyone does this on the ground then the mainland is going to look really, really ugly. we'll be back to where it was a couple of years ago

Is this true? Just like any prim, if you 'cut' a megaprim, it will appear to be smaller than its actual size. This used to be common with megaprims - before the most recent amnesty on making them, there were very few sizes available, so folks used cut ones a lot. Now, you can usually find a megaprim that was originally made in whatever size you need, and if you use one of those, there is no 'bounding box' that is larger than what you see. .

I have noticed lately the new releases are stripper or just damn slutty... and agreed about the sim because everytime I am there i am so horribly lagged i give up and go home without buying..... I am trying to find just swaying animation, like at a show listening to music and such.. and I dont think they have any.

That's what I thought, but I've never paid too much attention to them I've just used them. I'm looking for a 95 x 40 x 10+ high if anyone has one.. salt has failed me on this

From: Tarina Sewell I am trying to find just swaying animation, like at a show listening to music and such.. and I dont think they have any. As a matter of fact they do. Sine wave have a cute series of maybe thirteen animations called 'mp3' which are very short so they are more suitable as stands than dances in an AO. I'm pretty sure they sell them as stands although I bought my copies well over a year ago so I can't be sure. I dropped the set in my Huddles with a sequenced notecard and they work quite well although they are a little jerky for an AO. The minor transitional jumps give that speed-frazzled-and-trying-to find-the-beat look typical of some guys you might see at a beach party or a rave but I think they're all the more cool for that. There are too many slick dancers in SL. That said, I've never yet seen a mo-cap animation set with a decent lead-in/lead-out to smooth transition. There must be a technical reason for it otherwise animators would not be missing them out so consistently. I don't like the current fad for full-on mo cap AOs for this reason: it's like watching those creepy horror movies where the ghosts snap into very different positions in the blink of an eye.
