I think you vastly overestimate the prominence you seem to think having half a million linden dollars would give you (which is one of many reasons people are making fun of you here). I made that much in Second Life in the first six months or so that I was here and I don't even sell anything. Lots of Second Life merchants make around that much money in a 1 to 3 months and some of the more successful Second Life entrepreneurs average out that much money in 1 to 3 days.

It also makes for an extremely lame reason to hide behind an alt account and bad mouth other merchant's products in another thread. Put up or shut up. Post your merchant/creator account name so other people can see what your products look like and see if you really make much better product to give your criticisms any validity or you are just full of s**t. The only reason to hide behind an alt account to say such things is cowardice.

Well, it can cost anywhere from 33k to 40k or 50k on the average per month. Then figure in the cost to decorate it... he could have it for a good 9, 10 months or so.

I only glanced through the previous comments, so forgive me if someone else mentioned it. From what I understand, although you can convert all your L$ to $US in one hit, there's a maximum amount that anyone can transfer to RL, in any one month. US$3,000 sounds familiar, but it may be less.

If its to much of a hassle to convert why not buy gifts for your true friends. Try to be careful of those who will offer you things just to get the money, seems even in Sl the sleazes come out of the woodwork.
Maybe find some sim that helps people or a charity and make a donation there are many things you can do with it that would do lots of good for others
