Buy One Million Dollars US @ 269L$/USD = 268,999,920L$ (they take USD 0.30 fee) Sell those L$ @ 259L$/UDS = $1,038,609.73 less 3.5% sell fee = $1,002,258.39 So the maximum profit is about 0.225% per round trip trade (Buy, then Sell). I made 0.214% on my last round trip, cause I only trade 2.3 million L$  These days, unless you have a lot to invest in Lindex trading (like what would buy several private islands), its not worth the time or capital. |

The last time I looked (I'll admit it's been a while), Linden Lab reserved the right to freeze trading if they believed anyone was trying to make money off exchanges between USD and Lindens. As you mentioned, that particular use of a million USD is probably not the most lucrative, but even if it were, LL would probably put a stop to it immediately. |

I wonder how LL would react if a third-party L$-USD exchange service that didn't signed anything that would force them to obey LL was trying, and managing, to drive the L$ significantly down/up
