Can YOU leave the Playboy.sl Club group?

Cause i can't! I joined like a tard. But it doesnt show up in my list of groups so i cannot activate it or leave. but it shows up on my profile and countsa s one of my 25 groups. The Tard who runs the group hasnt been online in months. No one else can eject me. I cant even yap in groups and get booted. i tried all the clients and contacted support. contacted the tard runnin the playboy sim. who do gotta cal. oh hugh hisself? Anybody got any suggestions or feelin the same pain. If a tard abandons his group after a time it sould be disbanned. prob just an alt anyway ! CRAP!

if it shows up in the profile try double clicking it there, that will bring up the info tab, that might give you a way to leave (can't remember if there is an option in the group info window to leave, or only on the group list window)

no I can not leave the playboy group, because I was not a tard and joined it to begin with

Communicate ->Groups Tab is another way to see your groups. Then, as Rhao said, click twice quickly and the group profile should show up. Then unjoin.

isa I think he means he can not see it in the group tab (under communicate) only via his profile

but in the profile you can open the group info tab, just can not remember if you can leave this way, or if you have to do so via the communicate/groups list window

You might also try this link while in SL, if the problem is getting the group info widget to show up in the first place (admittedly I'm not sure I understand the problem correctly):

Oh, I understand now,(I thought he was using the Wheel to access groups which I guess is the same thing, lol)

I just tried via the profile and info tab and I don't see anywhere to 'unjoin'. If the group doesn't show up in communicate, then I have no idea...

Had this happen once - and the group owner wouldn't eject me - no matter how much I pleaded. I had to file a ticket with LL and they happily removed me from the problem group.

Just speak out in their group chat like you tend to on the forums and your membership will likely end sooner rather than later.

Jumpy man, you are having issues? the hot playboy chicks getting boring? or did you find out they were all dudes or something? why do you want to leave such a prestigious community? i feel for ya man. let us know which technique finally solved your problem.

Especially if you tell everybody in group how great Penthouse and Hustler are compared to those wimpy, plain vanilla Playboy types with all those silicon implants, and ol' Hugh Hefner, god bless his soul, who must really be pretty much over the hill by now.

use the words "bigger than an 8 inch rod" a lot and you might increase your chances of ejection in an even more timely manner.

They don't have a great track record .

Friends list showing (empty) and (hippos) has been a problem since last summer, if only for a minority. It was ignored until 1.19.0 when it affected everyone and seems to be fixed in the RC.

The notecard window size problem has existed (with a repro) for about a year now, since everyone is pretty much affected by it now, they'll probably get around to fixing it soon.

In much the same way I wouldn't be surprised if this bug went ignored until we all loose the ability to see our groups. Something to look forward to .

Seeing the groups doesn't do me much good since I can't see the group chat.

Maybe those thousands of people have just coincidentally all become very taciturn all at the same time.

But, I had a problem with a group I couldn't leave .. I was the only member left so I became owner, and I couldn't leave unless I assigned it to someone else ... and the "auto disband" wasn't working. So I got on to Live Help and they confirmed with me I wanted to kill off the group, the Linden "did something" at their end, a quick relog, and the problem was solved. Group gone.

I didn't realise Playboy was still active in SL. I thought it was another of those 'much promise that didn't deliver' commercial builds that was deserted after a few days of hype.

It's intermittent and getting worse. I get the error dialog about problems opening chat, try again later, mulitiple times for every session of SL.
