What sort of dances? Classical? Modern? Club? Lap? Pole?

Solo? Couples?

Hi Eli thanks I have looked there and like what they have, just thought I should see if there are any others worth looking at, thanks for the quick reply :)

Sorry Deira, you're right I should have been more specific, I'm just looking for general club dances so I dont have to rely on the dance balls. I never seem to find one I like on those and the funky chicken just isn't a good look lol.

animazoo and akeyo have some good motion capture dances. smaller selection than sinewave but some really great ones. one other advantage is they are copyable dances so if sl eats your huddles, you don't lose everything.

Try 3fx, Sine Wave, and Henmations. They are all motion-capture companies.

If there's a club with a dance ball you really like the animations for, ask the club owner where she got them - there might be a HUD version available.

I'm very fond of the animations in two clubs I go to, and I've been thinking of doing that as I can't stand some of the animations in a few other clubs that I otherwise enjoy.

Until Akeyo recently appeared on the scene, I used to think Sine Wave better than the others that have been mentioned. However, to my eye at least, Akeyo seem to have moved things on to another level.

I totally agree! The animation work is really nice and the length of the dances seem pretty generous.

Sine Wave, Akeyo, others mentioned are all good. Maar Auer has lovely couples dances in some unusual traditional styles. Animations & Arts has a very sweet hug dance for a couple.

And the best, smoothest, most realistic and fun couples dances, hands down, are from 3FX. Also great solo dances there too. Wonderful place.

Lots of great suggestions in this thread. I'll just mention Animazoo again, because their prices for copyable are great, and they have some nice subtle dances which are handy when you want to just stand and sway to the music a little.

Another thumbs-up for Akeyo. They don't have a huge selection, but what they have is amazing. Animazoo makes good ones, but to my mind the loops are just too short. Sine Wive is still "the place to go" for dances, all other things considered.

Many times you can actually Edit the dance ball, go to the Contents tab, and then right click on the animations and select Properties to get the Creator.
