Can't seem to eject AV from my land |

There's this AV that's been "stuck" on my land for the last couple days. She's been standing there with the missing texture stuff on her, not moving, not responding to chat or IMs. I tried ejecting her, then tried ejecting and banning, both do nothing. I added her to the ban list, with no effect. Any ideas?

I'm not entirely au fait with ghosts but it sounds like you have one there. Not a proper avatar therefore won't respond to the usual things. The number of times sims have restarted lately I'd give it another couple of days before bothering to try and contact LL about it.

She may be a so-called ghost AV, ie someone who's not actually logged on and in fact is not really there. If so, it's not her fault. Her AV has been left behind when she's logged out or crashed. She may even be struggling to log back in.
Have you checked the AV's online status? _____________________

Have you tried sending her an IM? Sometimes that will knock them off.

May be a dumb question, but is your land an island, with no adjoining island?
I seem to recall a note on this forum that said that if you ejected someone from an island, instead of them leaving, they are moved to a corner of the island. Could this be the case, here? _____________________

when that happens on my land, i just push them to a corner and put a box around them so they can't be seen (as easily), or pushed by others to some wacky spot on the sim.

Happened on my land a while ago. The gentleman sat there on his horse for 4 days. We couldn't eject him (wasn't a menu option) and he didnt respond to IM's. a few days later, I got an IM from him, and a picture which showed him in different clothing on the other side of SL in a shop. When he tp'd to where we were (he'd never been there before) his ghost disappeared (along with the horse)
We chalked it up to SL weirdness. _____________________

 Oh, and my land is on the mainland.I just pushed her to the side of my parcel where she continues to stand. I guess I'll just see how long she stands there. She's not really hurting anything. |

That happened to a lady at my store, mainland sim, we exchanged IM's but she could not log on. Got message system was still trying to log her off. She reported it to LL and finally after several days a Linden showed up and had to restart the sim to free her.

It's been 7 days now that this AV is "stuck" on my land. Not complaining, she accounts for about 1400 traffic numbers each day (I guess that's 1440 to be exact, since 60 x 24 = 1440). Which is an indication of how traffic numbers are calculated. No wonder those "popular" places have numbers in the tens of thousands... all from bots standing around in the sky, or whatever... draining precious resources for real live members and non-members.
My little ghost just stands where I pushed her, off to the side of my store. I'm just gonna leave her there and see how long this goes on. It's pretty funny actually. |

I had the exact same thing a few weeks back. I requested a region restart from support, that got rid of the ghost.
