Is the Forum as addictive as SL?

I came in just to get the answer to my question and I ended up in here for 45 minutes, reading and commenting. WTH? Does LL have some type of subliminal LL addiction software that they are lacing the forum with? I am already mainlining SL, I don't know if I can handle any more.

That's because as bad as it is, the Forum is more reliable than Sl itself

Yeah, my boss would object if played in sl all day. He doesn't pay attention about the forums.

It's not addictive. I can quit anytime I want to.

I just don't want to.

Yeah I'd agree they are addictive. It's one of the first things I hit on my bookmark tool bar whenever I sit down at the computer.

The forums are definately addicting. Possible should be on the list of controlled substances.

I'm here too, since I can't go to SL when I want to...which is all the time. This forum is my substitute to find out what is going on! So I'm here now every time I sit on the computer.

Has anyone started a SLA (SL anonymious) yet?

Anyone else having uncontrollable urges to be inworld, when not possible, unable to think anything else?

Lastly, why oh WHY is it so addictive????!!!?

SL is addictive, the forums are part of the addiction.

An SLA, or Second Lifers Anonymous, would be a good idea for people who feel their love for SL is getting out of hand in terms of money, time or emotional involvement.

What would be useful would be a 'double blind' forum where people would talk from their RL's viewpoint, but anonymously, using a go-between ID that is neither their RL one or SL one.

I bet there's already several organisations called SLA, though. Street-Legal Armchairs???

Yeah - I just got really worried about my wine habit and switched to drinking brake fluid.

I used to know a pretty female journalist who pinned her Press button badge on her chest and wondered why men just to take it as an invitation . . .
