Hi All Residents, I am doing a research about Virtual Shopping Behavior for my graduate study at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. I need respondents for my survey, please help me by click http://tinyurl.com/cz4meh. The survey is about the customer behavior in buying either virtual or real goods through SL. It takes 5-10 minutes to answer all the questions. All the data will be treated anonymous and confidentially for the purpose of this study only. Feel free to contact me if you have any question or suggestion related to this questionnaire at erkaburuan@gmail.com. Thank you so much for you help.

Oh Arke....I feel for you......this crowd has seen so many surveys that you're treading into the territory of wolves here This forum in NO WAY represents the masses that reside in the SL virtual community. If you want an accurate study of ANY kind of behavior with-in SL......you need to get your azz in world and start humping it and talking to people all over the grid......put the link to your survey in the web tab of your profile.....and then go be social. Become a part of it all. Don't just plunk this link in here, wipe your hands and think you're gonna get anything remotely accurate. You're not. This happens in these forums weekly, if not daily....and it's at the point of being laughable. You gotta do the leg work my friend.....if your study is legit....and you're going to publish something interesting and enlightening......then you need to back it up by putting your own virtual sweat behind it.

I want to get a degree in Shopping, too!
Back when *I* was in school, we only studied BORING stuff like History, Geogruffy, Math, ...
If I knew that you could study SHOPPING on a graduate level I would have waited to be born!

Reeling and Writhing, of course, to begin with, and then the different branches of Arithmetic --Ambition, Distraction, Uglification , and Derision. Well, there was Mystery, ancient and modern, with Seaography: then Drawling--the Drawling-master was an old conger-eel, that used to come once a week: He taught us Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils.

But, sometime I dont find much because of the time different; I live in Asia and I know that most of the residents are from the west. Any interesting place that I can visited and have 24 hrs ppl around?

Sorry I associate surveys with changes forced on us in SL and so I do not wish to take any more surveys.

Arke, I'm going to have to put this bluntly. Your survey is very badly written. Not just the poor English; I'm aware that you are not a native English speaker. Some of the errors, like overlapping or incomplete ranges in questions, I would consider poor from a high school student, let alone a graduate student.

Hi Kelly, You are right, I'm not a Native English Speaker. I know that in some way, it is not fit with the English structure..BUT that's how it is written from the sources I found from English speaking country. you might e-mail me personally to help me correct the error. Anyway, thanks for writing...

Anyway, thanks for writing... Your errors with the English language aren't the biggest problem. In most cases, they don't make the questions too difficult to understand, although to a native speaker they are glaringly incorrect. The two biggest problems I noticed were: The question asking how long one had been involved in virtual worlds had incomplete ranges; something like: 0-1 years 1-2 years 3-4 years... Anyone with 2-3 years of experience wouldn't be able to answer correctly. Where you asked for age, the ranges overlapped. 20-30 years old 30-40 years old... So someone 30 years old could have marked either of those categories.

From: Duncan Delicioso WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Yet another survey I get to do with completely the wrong information See, now, that's really not very generous. Using alts, you could do the survey dozens of times with the same completely wrong information, thereby increasing the reliability of the data. Jus' tryin' to help.

Best way to go from here is to visit my shops, buy all I have for sale, and then take a moment of rest. That must give you a feeling about shopping in SL Plus it will be a great incentive for me to fill out your survey
