I am looking to find out who makes super impressive castles such as medieval Castles or fortresses and French Style Provincial Mansions or Barouque style Builds that are less formal than a Palace.. Definetly not Gothic.. I am looking for a bright non fairy Castle that will look great on a River/ RiverBank
I have been looking around and have been finding some real junk designs that looks like a 5 year old kid drew up plans on one of those Etch a Sketch pieces of garbage and then turned it into PrimF**K for sale for way too many Lindinero's
I have found some decent stuff too but I am not yet impressed with any of the stuff I have seen
Thanks for your Help.
oh and.. it has to be exactly 50,001 Lindens or it can't be any good..

I should think a student of castles such as yourself would prefer to build his own...

Well, let me ad some castle I like even I am not the expert of castles. Rustica - by Maxwell Graf - You can buy each sculped rock seperately and make your own dream castle, will keep you busy for a while and also will keep you stop cross posting *giggle (Yeah Im in my fun mood again ) Let me give you the place http://slurl.com/secondlife/Rustica/127/128/81 You may want to mix this sculped prim set with some rustical looking bricks and walls, rocks and so on made by a well known Ðesigner and builder - by Baron Grayson- From: someone Crumbling structures of stone and natural beauty, Baron Grayson, 2008. An open, meandering design to play with the senses of one’s mind and cause directional confusion. Prefab and complimentary building kit available. Location: http://slurl.com/secondlife/The%20Nameless%20Isle/80/138/697 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nearby Rustica you will find a SIM with a modern castle, totally different and may not everybody's cup of tea in case of castles but you can get some new impressions, may some ideas: I also like this caslte and its design a lot Arcana Nuevo-ArkAngel Designs -by Angelica Zuma - http://slurl.com/secondlife/Arcana%20Nuevo/109/137/50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now visit a well known castle built by a well known builder from France - by Yadni Monde - who worked on many huge projects like Intel and so on. Smart crazy guy Shivar Mont Saint Michel au Peril de la Mer - by Yadni Monde Check out some lovely details outside of the castle. Visit the mill on the river. After fly up and see the castle itself http://slurl.com/secondlife/Shivar/125/173/22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Last but not least have a look at your hometown Baden-Wuerttemberg and its campain of good will " Wir koennen alles ausser Hochdeutsch (evil smile)" http://www.baden-wuerttemberg.de/de/Werbe-_und_Sympathiekampagne/124658.html----------- Simply me ^_~

There are nice castles all over the place. I'd go and look and see, then check who made the ones I liked, if I were looking to buy a castle. Although many may not be for sale you might get lucky.
Some nice ones are in Legenda.

I'd take a look at the current issue or back issues of Prim Perfect magazine. There will be advertisements or possibly an article or two about castle builders. Go to any of the RP sims and ask who made their castle(s). Check some of the other in-world magazines too.
Be aware that just because it is big, doesn't mean it has much in the way of usable space. I've been in castles that had odd shaped side rooms that you really couldn't do much with. I once used the stairs/ramp inside a turret of a castle. Camera was outside the wall and you had to keep stopping to bring your camera back in to find the exit for the upper floors.
Also, if you are on land with a covenant better ask the landowner if mega prims are allowed. Check to make sure if your castle has mega prims in the construction. Ask the creator if they have a 'footprint' of the castle you're interested in buying. This is to make sure it will fit on your parcel and can save you a big headache later.

The people in the sim next to mine are nuts about castles. They've got one on the ground, and about three more, one above the other, on sky platforms.
PLEASE contact them, in the Marachia sim. Maybe they'll sell you a few of their extras, and unclutter my view.

Try a search on "Ariel Erlanger" for a very realistic and beautiful castle. http://uncensored.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=622095Search for "Alex Bader" Skye Gothic castles of many varieties. http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=776556Depending on your needs and tastes there are many others as well. Good luck.

My Castle Tiberion sells very well, so I assume it is not a bad castle.
It is only L$4000 though - but I would be happy to charge you more for it if you want, hehe

Check out Insky Jedburgh's IJD Castles like the Gothantic Palace or Skygaard Castle. I'm a bitch about historic detail, as well as a shameless texture junkie, and both of these make me lightheaded with joy. God help me, I go hunting for more land every time I see them. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Besiope/118/88/578
