We're not so sure. Just about every time El Reg has entered into Second Life, we've been greeted by system crashes, lags of 30 seconds or more and other evidence that would suggest the servers at Linden Labs aren't among the more robust operating around the globe. We have our doubts about just how effective those security measures could be. So if Second Lifes "not so robust" servers can't handle monitoring avatars and their subversive activities...wouldn't that illude to the fact they can't even handle subversive activities? or maybe...... I KNEW It!! The lag is an anti Govt plot carried out by a "fake" virtual world Company named Linden Labs and while supplying stellar service to the subversives..(wherever they may be  ) they provide the basic crap service to everyone else as a "front"."Sneaky....Sneaky...Sneaky"  ~Lana Tomba |

Here in the US we have plenty of wacky fundamentalists as well. To be honest I worry a lot more about our homegrown flag waving, bible thumping, holier-than-thou, fundamentalists than any threat from overseas. I don't spend much time praying to any supreme being but when I do as always include this line "Dear Lord, please protect me from your followers." |
