From: Kitty Barnett It'll be up by 2pm. At 2:30pm they will add "The log-in servers can't cope with the load so log-ins will be slow." to the blog. At 3:00pm they'll close the grid again because "We're running into some unforeseen problems that didn't occur during our intial tests." At 3:05pm there will be a post highlighting the fact that recent efforts have increased the stability of the grid and that SL has never been better. At 5:00pm they'll post that today's changes have been reverted and that they'll have another go at it tomorrow from 7-11am  . I aggree with Kitty  |

I can't offer a prize because that would be a blatant violation of the gambling ban but if the person who guessed right randomly gets a nice item "accidentally" set to their avatar" I can't be held responsible.
My question is, when do you think the main grid will be back up? Hour:Minutes format please in PST timezone (I really don't feel like doing all the work to convert GMT and 22 other times into PST)
EDIT NOTE: I do not plan on hitting retry on SL every second so I'll be going by the blog statement time barring it still being down after their announcement, if it's still down after their announcement then I guess I'll re-evaluate. 4:57 on the 5th Thursday of next month.. when the grid comes online, everything will be broken, we will all be yelling and screaming that we are leaving sl...yet.. we won't leave because we love SL and our friends!!  |

Hmmm... I'll say 3:03pm PST on the 1st re-opening, 4:10pm PST the second time after re-closing from the 3:03pm opening. Around 7ish tonight mass log ins should finally start... LOL

I'm reliably informed that the Hamster will shortly have been fully rested and will be back in his wheel at 3.05pm.
However he will be taking several hours to build up speed, so whether or not its worth joining in the initial logging in bun fight when the grid is up is questionable.
