Long time SL resident Kendra Bancroft, known in RL as Maddie Blaustein, passed away on December 11. She was a very active participant in these forums, along with Second Citizen and SLUniverse. She was best known in SL for her passionate work with the Neualtenburg project, which was an experiment with running a government in SL. She was also an incredibly talented content creator.
Most notably, in RL she was the voice for Meowth in the US version of Pokemon, along with an extensive amount of other voice and creative work. Her passing is being mourned not just in the Second Life community, but in the animation community as well. Her work and her life had an incredible impact on people.
She will be deeply missed, and left an unforgettable mark on Second Life and those lucky enough to have known her.
