THis may end up being posted in RA since it is not a question about machinima, but I thought you media magicians might know the answer. Many music playlist sites offer Flash widgets to stream music to folks' blogs, myspace, etc..; but they do not offer simple stream URLs suitable for SL land options. I've looked at the code for these widgets, and don't see such a URL that I can just copy - yet I know Flash is just a container for mp3, mp4, etc. streams.
I'm probably not asking this right, but is there a way to extract from or convert a Flash widget to a URL for audio streaming? .

Hmmm. On further pondering .... maybe what I need is a proxy site that will interact with the playlist site to actually start playing the music, then rebroadcast it as an internet radio station??
Help! .

Mediamaster looks like it could be what you are after - not sure if it is accepting new joiners, but it is worth a try.
Try it. mediamaster.com

Congratulations and shame on you. you are a slut in the very best possible meaning of the word!

Mediamaster is fabulous, but sadly, going out of business: /327/31/304280/1.htmlI am looking for a replacement with little luck. The sites that store music don't seem to provide continuous streaming URLs. .
