So this poll tells us without any sense of doubt that Hamlet Linden is one of blaze's alts?
Or did I miss the point?

well I am still quite new to SL but not to virtual worlds and thus I met a lot of people from other countries (well actually us frenchies seem to have little interest in virtual world unless it's in french lol) and I never generalized. Yes I met some american idiots but not more than french dumbasses (well perhaps a bit more but in proportions it ends the same hehe ) I have always "judged" people by their personnality, they opinions and their kindness. Therefore no Sl or any other game didn't change the way I see any american I meet as I don't even care where my friends are from as long as they're fun and nice

Doesn't bother me if anyone is american or martian, I treat people with as much respect as they give me. I can't say the first thing I ask of anyone I meet in game is their nationality hehe. In fact, it is probably the last thing on my mind unless I am having difficulty understanding them. Rather an odd poll in my opinion. To be fair I don't really know anyone here yet. I did used to play SWG a while back and regardless of nationality you get good and bad across the board.
I've met great American/Swedish/Isreal/Scotland/Ireland/Welsh/Australian/Just about everything now hehe.

The poll I believe reflects the way many Americans think. They seem not see people as individuals but lump everyone together as part of a group reflecting their obsession with race, ethnic background, religious belief, political affilation, and all the stereotypes and prejudice that result from it. How should I answer the poll, I ask myself? Are all Americans good? Are all Americans bad? Are all New Yorkers good? Are all New Yorkers bad? Are all Bronx residents good? Are all Bronx residents bad? Are all the residents of Belmont Ave. good? Are they all bad? Are all the people living in the flat at 2371 Belmont Ave. good? Are they all bad? Are Mr. and Mrs. John and Mary Smith both good? Are they both bad? In my case, the moment I literally got off the boat into SL (teleport in the welcome area), I was triple negged by someone for no reason whatsover, so now you know my opinion about ALL SLifers! Second Life party at 2371 Belmont Ave! Woot!
Sorry about the gratuitous triple neg rate, Sextus, but welcome to SL all the same...

I answered that my opinion got somewhat better. Reason is, I was expecting a bit more "exclusion" because I am German, which can be an issue sometimes. Instead, I got greeted with a lot of "wow" and "great" I have a multi culti background, hence I REALLY enjoy SL, where you can meet people from all over the world, and learn to appreciate their cultures. I have people I can really admire on my Friends list, from the States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Israel, wherever, but I have not the faintest idea where my casual contacts come from, or the people I don't like. I just don't bother to find out; what for? So the Big Plus for me is learning how caring people are, and how they interact with each other and their RL environment, wherever they live. And you know what? Nice people care about each other (surprise); and not so nice people are TERRIBLY uninteresting to me. And learning how Americans (in the classic sense) feel about America's image in their own, and other nationalities eyes, really strengthens my liking and understanding of them (just to name one particular nationality, out of MANY that this applies to). Now, if I could only get the same effect with the Germans I have met... (Just kidding hehehe )
