Can I get my old client back?

I run SL on a 1.33 GHz powerbook G4 (17inch) with a GB or SDRAM, running OS X 10.4.6 I have a cable connection with a blazing fast connection. And it all worked wonderfully until the update. Now I cannot fly around my own empty, PG sim at 3:00 am SLT without severe lagging. Its almost impossible to use. I played around with settings and get nothing. except blured vision when I fly. Nothing draws until I am on top of it and then because of the lag I am passed it and waiting to return. Rooms full of people are killer.

No, you can't go back to an earlier client. Not unless LL rolls everyone back to an earlier release, which they won't do unless it's broken badly for everyone.
