From: Ulrika Zugzwang Well what do you know! We're both wrong. I was more wrong than you. I wonder how it came to be so badly misused?

From: Pol Tabla I was more wrong than you. I wonder how it came to be so badly misused? You know, it was just random luck that my definition was closer. I think it's a saying that's passed from person to person and we all create our own mental picture, which describes what we think a learning curve is. In a way, the phrase "steep learning curve" is coming to represent something that's "difficult to learn" in common language, which technically would make it the correct usage (if we're doing things democratically). I guess it does make sense that something steep would be more difficult to overcome. Hmm. I think I'll start a poll in the General forum. It could be interesting and show that Prokofy/Random is in a way correct. ~Ulrika~
