From: Yuriko Muromachi I haven't been around and I'm not active in most communities so I'm not sure who to vote for.Irregardless who I vote, I would want to marry the 'El Presidente' of SL and be the corrupt wife who will buy all the beautiful shoes of SL, the glitziest gowns and bling-blings, while leeching off the residents with ridiculous 'taxes' (in the form of increased land tiers where an xxx% goes to mine and the president's pocket) while I go sing on every event on SL patriosim and whatnot while parading in the fruits of our corruption.  Of course there will be insurgents, so I will send my finest soldiers dressed in monkey avatars, armed with banana rifles to shoot avies, not 6 but 10 sims across! We will abolish democracy and put up martial law! Mwa,hahahahaha! *insert somewhat evil if not comical evil laughter* (Sorry about this, I'm a little stressed over work and in need of a destresser)  I'm in LOVE!  |

Altho, "The Resident President" does have sort of a brassy ring to it. There is another position missing as well. I'll vote anyone for president if they apoint me as the Resident God of Second Life. I have all the credentials. I'm three people in one with my alts. I have an e-mail that everyone can "pray" to. I'm sure there are plenty of grieferes I could round up that would love to be angels striking down evil doers. Oh, and at times, one of the voices in my head claims to be all knowing. I'd be the perfect SL God ;P. |

Yes, but look at the "Trying Not to Rule the Universe" guy. All crazy, talked to his cat or inanimate objects as often as to people, had no perception of time or space, and (in the radio version) acted in collusion with Zaphod Beeblebrox. Not an ideal leader.

Why would it have to be a President? If there were to be a government at all it would have to be a proper democracy, not the silly republic the USA has. But then not the Constitutional Monarchy of good old Britain (though it does have a touch of class that the US system lacks).
But I'm happy with an anarchy, unless maybe communism, I want my equal share of everybody else's money!
