It's funny because it's true....

Fact is, communists would insist on keeping everything within the realm of control. The ideas put forth here have nothing to do with control and everything to do with having a place functioning better. That is as democratic as it gets.

Then again, some adults never grew out of the 80s and still think anarchy is the only alternative to Marxism.

Any US citizen who tells you he's free of oppression and rules should make you nervous. Life is about surviving the imbalance. Sl is no different and quite possibly humanity's best modern example of voluntary regulations.

yes, it's been in effect since the advent of private islands. I.E. there are islands out there that we don't know exist because they do not appear on the grid.

That I understood. Tavarua was one of them the first couple days so the initial movers could settle in. I also know about a couple islands setup for specialist purposes, though cannot remember the article I read about it in.

But I've not seen anyone actively advertizing for an off-the-grid residential or similarly zoned sim. I'd think that'd be the ultimate in community privacy around here, especially if part of it was set aside as a sandbox.

I am quite interested in seeing your proposal at the website, though its still not there.
