Just to let everyone know Schwanson Schlegel and his family are OK after hurricane Wilma.

His house was damaged a bit, he lost a few windows and his porch enclosure. and apparently parts of his neighbors roofs were ripped off. He has been told it could take up to 2 weeks to get his power back on. He said he is going to try to get a generator tomorow.

Quite a bit of damage in his area according to him, but the important thing is that he and his family are safe.

If you are one of Schwan's tenants feel free to contact me if you need anything.

This must be the 6th hurricane Schwan has dealt with since I met him a little over a year ago. And yet he insists on staying close to the ocean. "Dude, gotta surf!"

I am glad to hear Schwanson is ok - I was concerned since I knew he had not put up any hurricane shutters when I had last spoke with him. Hopefully they will get their power back soon. Unfortunately, the area he lives in was much more damaged than where I live, so it may be awhile. Regadless, I am just really happy he and his family are ok.

Hey hey!
All is well here. I finally got the generator hooked up and will be able to access the forums and email daily now. YAY!!!!

I am going to make a drive to get more fuel later today, if we are able to score some gas I should be able to be on SL tonight.

We weathered the storm fairly well, minor damage to our house and roof. Pieces of our neighbor's roof came through our youngest's window. About 25% of the homes in our area are severely damaged. The area is a total wreck, lots of snapped power lines, fences destroyed, toppled trees, no fuel, roofs off.....

ATM I don't have any time to browse the forums, but if someone would be so kind to post Rose's status I would appreciate it. If need be they can swing by here to catch up on email and take a hot shower.

Thanks for all the concern and I hope to be in touch later tonight.
