Siggy, I'd like to say thanxies for making me laugh all those times. And all those other times. And even during serious talks about things gone wrong in the world, because if you can laugh about death, you can pretty much laugh about anything.

I'd like to make it clear how much I appreciate you cutting through all the proverbial BS and showing the truth of the Emperor's New Clothes—none whatsoever at all—while being fair. If humor can entertain, it can also educate, and you're a paragon of that.

And thanks for always having a serious counterweight to the ridiculousity you hefted in the way of exploding cows, UFOs, and my personal favorite, the Emote-A-Rama. Your candid style and song parodies have made many here feel better, including myself, and I hope you feel better really soon too.

Just a quick update...

Siggy is still in the hospital, not ignoring anyone. I'm beginning to suspect it's now a case of kidnapping since they won't give him any info or let him know when he can come home. He's threatening to release himself, so maybe that will get his doctor's attention.

I'll have him post when he's home and settled, or if he doesn't feel up to it I'll post again.

Is he hospitalized in Canada? This all sounds very familar. I ended up having to throw empty bed pans around to get the nurse's attention. It worked to some extent. I got more morphine... that's gooood stuff.

I'm thinking the attention may have been more immediate if the bedpans were FULL!

They say they're sending him home today. (I'm hoping but not holding my breath) He's doing well, just going stir-crazy from being trapped in the hospital for a week.

Latest update... Just talked to Sig about 20 minutes ago, and he says it's a GO! to send him home today. He was prepped for his last poking and prodding, and hopefully should be home within a couple hours.

Heya folks, thanks for the well wishes and a well needed laugh - I got home a couple of hours ago, unpacked, and spent some time making myself feel moderately human again.

Valley Hospital will be glad to have me outta there after a week of amusing myself by stealing wheelchairs and doing nascar laps of the second floor to pass the time.
Although I feel my smart arsed answers to their questions (do you get dizzy spells? - Yes every time you pump me full of morphine you dumb shit) will be sorely missed.

If I never see another ass-cape again in my life, it will be too soon.
I'm convinced that the only reason they kept me there was because they had to meet a quota of random people that had seen my johnson before I was released - all premises of modesty had vanished after Day 2.

For those that like Male Grooming Tips : Hospital tape *CAN* give you a brazillian wax job - just make sure you take your pain meds before you try it - while ultrasound gel causes shrinkage like a mo-fo.

Hospital food sucks, but watching Discovery channel while blasted outta your skull on Demerol is the bomb.

I tried borrowing my buddies powerbook - but we couldn't get the wifi hookup going there - such is life, then again maybe in hindsight thats a good thing - having me bored AND stoned outta my face on the forums every day might have been a BAD move.

Haven't logged in world yet - to tell the truth I'm a lil scared to see the backlog of IMs - but I don't have to get back to work for another week, so that will give ample time to get back to everyone, and who knows - you'll probably be sick of the sight of me by next monday
