I said something in the forum yesterday that I now in the morning regret. Unfortunately, the thread was closed and I'm unable to reply to many of the great posts that followed. I'm simply going to say that I am quite upset that the forums are closing and that I picked a poor method of expressing my anger. I apologize for this poor method of expressing my emotions.
I'm still upset. I still don't trust this individual or those he works for. But I recognize that what I said had nothing to do with either of those points and thus was wrong. As penance, I'm going to move on now to the third party forums, leaving the SL forums behind. I'll see you all there in a few weeks and remember, this thread isn't over until someone invokes Godwin's law.
~Ulrika~

That's nice of you, but the newbies could still use you in the content creation forums. You know the most important part of these forums. The place where many of us learned.

Of course, Ulrika has a positively sterling record when it comes to swearing off the forums... although in this case, none of us get much of a choice.

I don't believe this apology was sincere, I think it was to cleverly bring up the topic of a locked thread.

From: Chronic Skronski I don't believe this apology was sincere, I think it was to cleverly bring up the topic of a locked thread. I don't think she's ever sincere. I think that the possibly of some people taking her words as sincere makes her feel like a puppet master. It takes all kinds...

Bingo. If it had been sincere, she would have left. Posting only with alts is not leaving.

You think I named *myself* "Black Vulcan"? Hell, no! I used to go by "Supervolt". "Black Vulcan" was Aquaman's idea. And I said "Maybe we should just call you "Whitefish"!

It's good to see non-insane people (those who like me, know they can make mistakes) conversing. It makes me even more sad the forums are closing just when I was truly finding them useful as a tool for information on Second Life and for conversing with others in a way not easy in-world. I wonder if one worked for Ulrika, Gwyneth, Kendra, Prokofy, Lewis, Aimee and Flipper if they would be flame-proof, though. Would be an interesting job, to be sure.

Yeah well lap it up alts. When these forums close, if you want to post you'll have to do it on third party sites. No Linden labs to protect IP addresses from prying eyes there.
