50 avs at annual premium accounts = 50 x 72 USD = 3600 USD

initial referal L$ income = 1000 L$/av x 50 avs = 50 000 L$

bonus income for 150 rating points (50 avs rating each other) = 200 L$/wk
annual L$ income = (200+500) L$/av/wk x 50 avs x 52 wks =
500 x 52 x 50 = 1 820 000 L$

Available Land Baroning Land tier = (512 m2/av x 50 avs) x 110% = 28160
land tier savings = approx 125 USD /month * 12 months = 1500 USD.

Total L$ income = 50 000 L$ + 1 820 000 L$ + 250 000 L$ = 2 120 000 L$

2 120 000 L$ x 4.1 USD/1000L$ = 8692 USD

IRR = 6592 profit/3600 investment = 183 %

odd assertion from someone who has had no contact with me in world ever to know what the heck they are talking about.

from what i understand, you don't need to actually log in premium accounts every week to benefit from thier income. all the alts would have to be logged in two or three times ever. once to donate tier to the land group and to rez a cube. once to rate all the alts. and at the end of the year to give the main account all the annual L$ earnings.

If anyone is in the market for an alt I'm available.

This part doesn't work... as the user numbers increase during the year, your position on the ratings board drops and you get less bonus. 200 down to 75 then nothing at all.

A 150 rating (50 in each catagory) wouldn't even start you at a 200 bonus by todays values.

i have around 500 rating and i get almost 500 L$ for my ratings every week.

ok let's say it's 100 L$/week, then that is a reduction of 260 000 L$, or 1079 USD.

I find it ironic that you who has been gaming the system at least threw being a land baron, now you are giving complete instructions to ppl on how to also game the system.

um gaming the system,.. land "barroning" is actually know as land trading. For some reason some people don't understand the concept. It's not gaming the system, the system is set up to allow this. Get of the land angels' cases'. Also this is the economics forum I don't want to see any flaming over numbers, get a life! try this method of logic, over ignorance.

The idea sounds good in theory, but the ratings amount would be less, the land tier you gain is not even half a sim, half a sim is ~100$/month for a year is ~$1,200, which sure beats $3,600, also you can go one day to every party and rate your booty off, and you can get quite the ratings without alts. You never have to log in as alts nor feed CC numbers to LL. This seems simpler, cheaper, and less likely to irritate that spousal unit.

To really do this you have to go to an awful lot of trouble:

get 5 credit cards (ok, not so bad, just reply to all the offers you get in the mail) - 1 hour to fill out the applications and mail
get married (easy, yet could potentially wipe out half your profits if you get caught in one of Blake's love hotels) -One minute, but the maintenance time can be a bitch.
get 5 more credit cards (again, just reply to the offers you normally throw away, but you will also have to convince the spouse that this is not just another one of your crazy schemes)- Another hour
set up 50 accounts (This is really tedious, but say 5 hours due to bathroom breaks, etc.)
Log in to each, add them to group and rate all the others (1 hour for each one)
When you factor in the labor, the stipend will still give you a profit, but not so much to make this worthwhile, unless you are paying temp workers to do your data entry. You will need to be a land baron, as you indicated.

This requires a lot more work and a lot more capital (some lindens, but mostly $US). If you are a baron already, this just sounds like how it probably works now for some of them.
