From: someone Juro,
I am not certain, but after looking at one of the hubs, it appears some people are dragging things other than notecards and pictures into the station's inventory. This action seems to wedge the station from clearing out and it eventually dies . Ryan, for the life of me, I don't see how "some people" could be doing this evil thing that has borked up the whole community because that function ONLY allows you to put in a notecard and put in a screenshot -- that's it! It simply WILL NOT ALLOW any other thing, say, a landmark. Indeed, you have to sort of just "know" that even to get the notecard in there, you need a special flick of the wrist really quickly, and use "ctr" to make it drop down right. It rarely works the first time, and while you are struggling to use it, you time out and it tells you to start over. Honestly, this is the damnedest, frustrating thing. Now, are you saying that putting a landmark ON the notecard of another screenshot ON the notecard, as many -- all? -- are doing is what is messing the thing up? Well, then say so, in the directions. Say NOTECARDS WITHOUT LANDMARKS AND PICTURES. Of course, and ad without landmarking capacity built into it is fairly useless, but if that's what it takes to fix this, let me know.

No Prokofy I am talking about actual landmarks in the inventory. Placing LM's or objects in notecards is perfectly fine.
I am not sure how people are accomplishing this but nevertheless, they are!
I realize that you and others are frustrated by the lack of consistency in these stations. We will address this immediately.

From: someone I am not sure how people are accomplishing this but nevertheless, they are! OK, I'm glad you clarified this and I'm happy you're working on this. It's so hard to advertise in the game that these telehub ads are really just a nice opportunity. If you want to charge money for them like you do with the texture uploads, I personally wouldn't care, since I know it must take time to keep it fixed and running well. I have no idea how you could put a landmark in there. It is so clearly marked. You can only do the one thing, drag the notecard and drop it like trying to play one of those games on the Thruway where you try to pick up the gold watch with the forklift lol. It's hard, and I can't imagine how someone could think "landmark" through all this. I'm going to assume that there is no way for a landmark to fall off a notecard in a system like this.

This action seems to wedge the station from clearing out and it eventually dies. It appears the advertiser script needs a more thoughtful overhaul to accommodate these eventualities. Thanks for this info Ryan! When I've tried to submit my ad, the hub will appear to accept it, but then gives off some message about not being able to find texture xxxx.
