Lock some parts of appearance

I know I can't be the only person who has to deal with this... I typically wear a couple of attachments all the time, as a standard part of my appearance. I've noticed that when I drag an outfit in a folder onto myself, the attachments detach if they aren't copied into that folder.

As an alternative to painstakingly going through and copying something into every outfit folder (not even possible if the attachment is a no-copy item which you bought) how about allowing some items to be locked? This could apply to skins, prim hair, jewelry or other attachments. Anything you wanted to wear all the time could be 'locked down' with a checkbox under appearance. Anything locked in this way would stay on, no matter what outfit folder you chose. Any part of clothing or appearance not so locked would be able to change.

A small thing, I know, but it'd save me a lot of hassle and a lot of time spent copying. It'd be like using the lock feature in the editing tools... a little time now to save you a lot of headaches later.

I've seen this idea before, source:

It's a really good idea... I too have been wondering why you can lock prims out in the open but not ones on your avatar, it's not consistent. Like, if you have a hair attachment you want to stay in place and not accidentally move around (that tweaking can be painstaking).
