It is not fair that there is such a low prim limit on moveable objects.

I want to be able to buy a boat that can move and carry a large number of passengers. That way I can charge each passenger a fair amount of L$ and take them on a virtual cruise with dining and various forms of entertainment on board. This would be a nice way to start a business in SL--by running a virtual cruise line! :)

Also, I think some more Linden water should be created inland, so that rivers can be formed on the mainland and ships can pass through them. :)

Please look here for more information. ;)

I'm looking at these today, I've got a 50 prim statue style object that I think I could cut down to around 10 quite happily. The shape of a ship-hull would actually be really easy to do with a sculpted prim in one or two parts (dependant on size).

I think there's a thread on the Knowledge Base saying why not - next to the "why not make bigger sims?". This takes too much physics for it, making SL's physics even worse if they use it. Degrading the physics engine is needed for this, and my new "all new physics engine" car (Really, it's better physics ^.^) would look pretty bad when they do so. Then we would all be back to walking and "running" like head-less chickes on the grid again, woot. (Lol, good joke :D)

The reason for the limit on vehicles, as said, has nothing to do with LL putting an arbitrary restriction on you. It's the physics engine.
