Why oh why isn't there a way to not have to see security bars? They're so ugly and once you know that your not allowed in such and such property, why should they continue to spoil the view from your own?

Alternately, go into your \Program Files\SecondLife\app_settings folder and find viewerart.ini.
In that file, keys for all client-side textures are stored.
Find the entries named noentrylines.tga and noentrypasslines.tga in that file and change the key to 34fc26a7-6cb4-1300-a90f-d99214fd7801, which is a transparent texture.
This works. I have tested it. It will make all red and green security lines transparent all over the entire world.
