Due to the constant scripting for Avatars, like the infamous Dance script for example, it would be much more helpful for the Avatars to have their own Contents tab. According to the Lindens, they are treated like giant prims, so why not? It would minimize the loss of scripts that still effect your avatar (which I know the Lindens hate searching for!), and you would be able to change AVs without losing those abilities (dance script being another great example  ) I wonder sometimes whether or not my postings here are worthwhile, but here's another gust of wind from a windbag that wants to make our world better =)

I was going to post a new feature suggestion, but I found this thread.
So here is what I was going to post:
I would appreciate it if avatars could be script containers. I'd like scripts to exist on my person rather than in the context of objects.
The attached objects are functional workarounds, but being as there is no Edit option in the inventory for editing the contents of invisible objects that are being worn (another suggestion!), they are only workarounds.
