Can AGENT prims have an object inventory?

According to LL, an avatar is merely a special type of prim called AGENT... does this mean that it could very well have an inventory, just like any other prim?
I would like to have scripts on my avatar. A lot of people have an object permanently attached for storing scripts, but they don't usually change outfits very often.
I switch avs all the time and its a pain to have to go and reattach my pet prim. Furthermore, some of my outfits already use ALL available attachment slots!
If I could right click on myself and get an "Avatar Scripts" option on my pie menu that would open an object inventory window for my av prim, it would be really handy.

Currently no we can't do this, but I would love to be able to.

Would be cool to permantly have some scripts going so you don't have that reattachment problem (which alot of people do).

Being able to treat the avatar as an object with those scripts would also be nice, such as being able to use llSetRot and have the avatar rotate without using an object and other things would be nice.

I endorse this idea/feature.

Also some things that are kinda related...

The ability to truely treat the avatar as an object, as such with prims Attached to the avatar, being able to send link_message's through the avatar, say have an object on your foot talk to the one on your hand. I suppose having an avatar inventory would fix this and make it easier, just have the scripts in your inventory use link_messages to talk to eachother.

Also the ability to make prims attached and stay attached even when you switch avatars. Was suggested awhile back. Something like setting attachments to "sticky". Although having an avatar inventory may also solve this problem, however some people may want it for objects themselves and not just scripts inside the object.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack, but they're related. :P

Hmm, when you use llGiveInventory to an avatar it goes into the real inventory... except that the real inventory is somewhat different from object inventories in that it cannot run scripts and its full of subfolders...
Could we get a subfolder called "Running Scripts" where we would place scripts that are supposed to be constantly affecting the avatar?

but...but then I'd have no reason to have a default wood-texture cube attached to my foot :-O

Why not just add "attach" to the right-click menu for scripts in inventory, but don't require a location for them to be attached?

Whatever's easier for them to code, is fine by me! The various solutions are more or less equivalent in functionality.

*SPLORT*

Darn it Sio! There goes Yet Another keyboard... :D

That said, I would *love* to have "sticky" attachments. Those of you who've seen me inworld know that I spend much of the time running around as a kilt-sporting robot, complete with a windup key on my back.

It's somewhat tedious to keep finding the windup key again in my inventory and putting it on every time I change my clothes and/or avatar.

(True, I've gotten around it by making outfits that include the attachment, but still, it'd be nice)
